Perspective

Psalm 103 came to mind this morning after hearing the good news of Dan being off the vent. During this Thanksgiving season I am reminded of who the God we worship, praise, and thank is! It is not that He has ever changed, but at times our perspective or memory has. Sometimes we (I) have spiritual amnesia…forgetting that He is the God who forgives, heals, redeems and satisfies! This Thanksgiving I am challenged and encouraged to “forget not all of His benefits…” as I am thankful for family, friends and so much more. I hope this verse encourages you as well! May you as well be thankful for the family and friends that are around you tomorrow…I know that I can say on behalf of the Dailey family…we are and you are a big part of that!

Psalm 103:1-5
1 Praise the LORD, O my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

2 Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits

3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,

4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,

5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

I was able to see Dan last night. What impressed me the most was God's peace, on Dan, and in his room. It was a privilege to be there.

As some of you already know, there are hundreds of people praying for Dan, Mari and family. I have compiled a list of states and countries, that are involved in prayer for Dan's healing. I'm so encouraged, that so many are taking part and believing in miracles for Dan.

Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri,
Montana, Oregon, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington D.C., Washington State, Canada, Hong Kong, and London,England.

May we all keep asking for the mighty hand of God, to continually heal Dan, especially his kidneys.

Love and blessings to all,
Laurie
